At the very end of Bell Island, there is the geological wonder of “The Bell”. Although we do not dive directly next to this site due to falling rock, we thought it was a fitting name for such a beautiful location. There is an amazing swim-through that is just lined with anemones and different types of seaweed. As well, since this is a rockier location, it is full of conners, flat fish, lobsters, and plenty of other sea life.
With a starting depth of around 20ft and a peak depth of near 70ft, this is definitely not a training location, but it is perfect for newly certified divers and all levels above. Of course, it should go without saying that underwater photographers will find this site especially intriguing.
