Gros Morne National Park

At the southern extremity of Gros Morne National Park, there lies a lake sized pond seated amongst towering tablelands, remnants of an ancient sea floor pushed to the surface by the slow motion violence of the Earth's geological processes.


What is Gros Morne?
Gros Morne National Park is Newfoundland and Labrador's second national park...oh and it's a UNESCO World Heritage site for it's demonstration of geological processes that have revolutionized the field of earth sciences. It's also one of the most beautiful places in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and heck, on Earth.
